Description

Product Overview

The Sonance VXXT8R Visual Experience Extreme 8-inch in-ceiling speakers are engineered for superior audio performance in residential and light commercial settings. These passive 2-way speakers handle up to 130W peak power, ensuring robust sound output without distortion. Key components include an 8-inch injection-molded polypropylene woofer and a 1.2-inch cloth tweeter, working together to produce a cohesive soundstage. With a frequency response of 38Hz to 20kHz, they accurately reproduce lows, mids, and highs. The speakers feature a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and 90dB sensitivity for efficient power use and crisp audio. Designed for in-ceiling mounting, they require a 10-1/8-inch by 10-1/8-inch cut-out and have a depth of 3.77 inches, making them suitable for standard installations. The paintable white grilles allow customization to blend with room aesthetics, while the included template and manual simplify setup.

Usage

These speakers are ideal for environments where space optimization and discreet audio are priorities. Home theaters benefit from their wide frequency range and power handling, delivering immersive movie soundtracks and music. Living rooms and kitchens can use them for background audio without cluttering floor space. The paintable grilles make them suitable for custom interior designs, matching wall or ceiling colors. Outdoor covered areas, like patios or porches, can utilize their durable construction for weather-resistant performance. Target audiences include homeowners, audiophiles, and custom installers seeking high-fidelity sound integrated into architecture. They work well with multi-room audio systems, providing consistent performance across different zones.

Why Choose Us

Sonance speakers stand out due to their focus on acoustic precision and build quality. The VXXT8R model uses advanced materials like polypropylene for the woofer, which resists moisture and maintains stability over time, ensuring long-term reliability. Unlike generic speakers, these are tuned to minimize phase issues, creating a unified sound from multiple drivers. The paintable grille is made from high-impact material, allowing for repeated painting without affecting acoustics. Sonance’s heritage in architectural audio means these speakers are tested for consistent performance in real-world settings, offering a balance of power, clarity, and integration ease that competitors often lack.
